Jodhpur is situated at a distance of 335 km from Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan. It is often referred to as the ‘Sun City’ due to the bright sunny weather it experiences throughout the year. Moreover, many people call it the Blue City due to the blue coloured houses that surround the Mehrangarh Fort. The city is built around the fort and is bound by walls.
